Standard bolt -hex.nut used in such connections are tightened by the tightening systems, such as: Ordinary hand tool or Torque wrench / Hydraulic or Pneumatic impact wrench or Thermal tightening or sledge hammering methods. These systems do not allow easily to tightening nuts or bolts -of large diameter to the required force-tension to maintain continue operational conditions. However, when such connections, comes to untightening -normally, during maintenance, often creates problems and they can not be dismantled easily and then the only solution is to cut. Also it is impossible to unscrew bolt when distorted threads, due to corrosion, etc.
Tightening a bolt having an elastic stretch, which keep the bolted assembly well-fixed-in position. If the distance between bolt head and nut is less, the elasticity is insufficient. The way to improve a elasticity of a bolting system is by the use of our proven bolting system called TENSIONER NUT or TENSIONER BOLT assembly -direct replacement of standard hex nut or bolt-a simple mechanical element, easily tightened by help of standard wrench / tool resulting insignificant reduction in time and manual labor, while assembly, disassembly and reassemble of connections. Considerably reduce required tightening torque for main bolt / stud due to distribution of torque on multi clamping screws.
“TNA”-can be threaded directly, on to an existing bolt / stud / threaded rod or shaft & TBA in to threaded hole. The hardened washer rests on load bearing surface of body / machine part to protect it. Once positioned, actual tensioning is accomplished by tightening clamping screws with standard tool / torque wrench that encircle the main threads. Tightening (torquing) clamping screws which push the tensioner body away from the load bearing surface of machine part / body, to be clamped / joined. Thus the bolt, stud or threaded rod, stretching-tensioning acquired. Tightening force (torque) is also distributed due to multi clamping screws. Properly assembled “TNA” / TBA remain tight on equipment / machine & eliminate down time of connection / joint, due to loosening. TNA & TBA are manufactured in range from M24 to M160 / 1” to 6” - Torque from 13.50Nm to 640Nm.
Advantages of TNA / TBA are : Fast & easy mounting (only with hand tool / torque wrench), uniform load distribution, easy to dismantle, more effective than any other existing tightening system, much less time & manpower require for mounting, requiring less space than any conventional system and are reusable, offering higher reliability and ensuring better availability
NOTE: Clamping tension obtained on bolted joint / connection is directly proportional to the tension -torque applied to tighten clamping screws (by tightening screws to allowable torque per screw) i.e. clamping screw tightened up to 3/4 allowable limit, effect 3/4 tensioning torque of main stud / bolt.
